We arrived on the Island of Barbuda on Monday. Words can barely describe the feeling of returning to fulfill a promise. That promise was to return to work on the Sports and Youth Cultural Affairs building.
On Day 1, much was accomplished despite the distraction of Prince Harry visiting a school across the street. We are so thankful to God for providing the materials and the hands to accomplish His work.
We are grateful to have Deanna (Donnie’s sister) and Ron Stadley (brother-in-law) here to help with the electrical, door hinges and cleaning up the windows. My Donnie, the hard worker that he is, has done some great tile work among other things.
One more thing we are thankful for is the addition of Clayton Kagi to our team. Not only has he been a hard worker helping with these tasks, but he has captured some amazing videos to tell the story of this mission with his cousin (Marc Brandenburg).
Check out his production of our day 1 activities and encounters!
