We have been out assessing the Hurricane preparations here at Ocean Point. It is eery, surreal and down right unnerving! We are the only two US citizens at the hotel. We are among the owners, a young Italian couple, Rossana the GM and a few employees. The waiting is the hardest part... Praying for a miracle! Our greatest concern is for those we love so much on Barbuda. They are the most exposed, with the littlest resources. Unless God intervenes this will be catastrophic. My heart aches for them. Hurricane Irma is a Category 5 Hurricane...God help us!
