The winds have definitely picked up. We’re trying to get some sleep before the worst of it has come. We just heard from Klarissa, “it’s here”. It most certainly is sister! Earlier, she texted, “Very very very windy and rain”.
We’re told the eye is just about 25 miles E of Barbuda. They eye is looking like it will go directly over Barbuda. And let me just tell you. I’ve been hearing these weather channel guys pronouncing Barbuda as Barboodah. Marc Brandenburg knows exactly how I feel about that. So, I have to share what he posted to weather channel, and to one of the Hurricane Experts on Twitter.
Now isn’t that funny? This storm is not. But that’s funny right there.
We are good so far. Keep praying for us, but even more, that the impact is not as bad as it is being made out to be on TV. The fact that Klarissa is still texting is encouraging.
